TURKEY EARTHQUAKE: Your support is urgently needed

A devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck south-eastern Turkey near the border with Syria in the early hours of Monday February 6. Over 1,500 people are dead and several hundred are injured, with the death toll expected to rise.

Rescue workers are desperately searching for survivors in cities and towns across the area.

Members of the Humanitarian Coalition are responding.

The Turkish Interior Minister issued an international assistance call, saying that priority is being given to the rescue of tens of thousands of people under collapsed buildings in the region.
