Faith of Life Network donates $250K to Prince Margaret Cancer Foundation
The Faith of Life Network presented a donation of $250,000 to Toronto’s Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation on Tuesday, November 23 to support the work of the top cancer institution.
“Alhamdulillah, it was a great pleasure this afternoon to present a cheque for $250k to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation and to represent many of you who support the work of Faith of Life Network since 2005 and Sayeda Khadija Centre since 2009 and specially our work in the mainstream society outside our homes and Masajid,” said Dr. Hamid Slimi, President of Faith of Life Network. “We strongly believe in giving back and contributing to society, especially towards fighting cancer which has claimed many of our loved ones especially in the last 10 years.”

Dr. Hamid Slimi is a well-known and respected Imam and Canadian Muslim leader who has been at the forefront in inspiring the Muslim community to support hospitals and other worthwhile causes.
He is the Founder and President of Faith of Life Network, a charitable organization focused on providing spiritual and educational programs as well as bridge building with other faiths for peace building and harmony. He is a resident scholar, Imam and Founder of Sayeda Khadija Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.
