Reviving the Islamic Spirit (RIS) Starts on Friday in Toronto

Reviving the Islamic Spirit (RIS), Canada’s largest Muslim convention returns to Toronto this weekend at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. 

Starting on Friday, December 20th with the Friday prayer service (Salaatul Jumu’ah) and running through the weekend, the convention organizers are promising an exciting and jam-packed event.

“We got the speakers, the artists, the entertainment, the basketball, the shopping and the whole family experience on wrap! All that’s left is for you to make the intention and come through,” says the RIS organizers.

Among the many new features at this year’s RIS is this – For the first time in North America experience what it’s like to be in Mecca in 610 AD
